After 3 years of searching......

Hi all, I have been a member for a while however its taken me nearly 3 years to find the right mk1, I'm in essex and have just bought a 78 3 door tin top, it's off for welding on the rear chassis and new wings on Monday I'll be starting a thread sometime next week hopefully so keep your eyes peeled.

Might be a good idea to get some pictures before the work starts so that your post can grow as the car develops.
