like i posted before but got no answer is there spare place on the club stand? if so can you post the ticket out asap as i will be there on the Sunday.
if there is a cost to post it out on next day delivery I will reimburse you on the day.

Its a strange set up. They like you to pay in advance because advance ticket sales go to vw festival but gate sales go to harewood house. that's probably why there's no info. I think last year was ?10.


I would also like to be on the club stand if there's any space left. gonna pay on the gate though, i could meet someone beforehand to get a club pass ?

Hi guys sorry have been away for the weekend with no internet access.

There is still space on the stand please PM me your addresses and I will post your passes out 1st class today or tomorrow. You will need to be there before 9 (to restirct movment on site once the shoe opens) I'm camping so will be there all weekend, If you want to put your car on the stand on the saturday aswell you will need book a weekend ticket.
Cost on the gate on the Sunday is ?12 for an adult and ?7.70 for under 16's.

Or its ?20 each for the weekend which includes camping and access to the show on both days.

I sent the other stand passes out on Friday 1st class so you should get them today if you didnt get them on Saturday.

I have just e-mailed the organisers to ask if i could pay on the gate and get in at 8am ish to be on the club stand and this is what they said

 "Unfortunately without a prebooked ticket we cannot let you in earlier as
paygate wont be open…..nor could we guarantee you access to the club
stand. "

They did let me still buy a prebooked ticket this morning though so if anybody wants one they need to get in touch with them now because the last pre booked tickets get sent out at 12 midday today !

i got mine this morning, for those of you who are there.. keep an eye out for me.. i'm the girl with the buns ( fairy cakes - as im getting my bake on on saturday!! Can prob be found at section-5 stand, section 6 stand, golfgti stand, dub force/dub pres stand with cakes! make sure you introduce yourself if you want one!!!!)

the car will be on the dubforce stand afaik.. altho could be section 6, depends where i end up

My car is still in the garage at the moment though they promise to have it back for the weekened, just hope I get it back in time to put everything back together! fingers crossed!

Just wondering what the plan is? I'm going up on the Friday so will be there all weekend.

Are we going to be on the stand on the Saturday as well as the Sunday or is it just the Sunday? if it's all weekend, what time do we need to be there on the Saturday?

And where are we meeting?

Were planning on leaving home about 10.30ish were coming in convoy with our next door neighbours so if your there before me look out for a lilac and white bay window camper with a light blue bay window camper been followed by me in a black golf cabby. So aslong as the cars are running ok we should be there for 11.30 maybe a bit before. I wont know where our stand is going to be until I get there but if you PM me your number I will ring you so we can meet up I think its just me and you on the stand on the saturday anyway.

The club stands etc open at 12 on the Saturday  and were not allowed to move our cars again till the end of the day. If you want to put your can on the stand before I get there feel free, last year the stands all had a marker in the ground so you should be able to find it.

If anyone else is coming on Saturday please can you PM me your number so we can meet up.

FOR EVERYONE COMING SUNDAY

Please try and be there between 8.30 and 9am. you will be directed to the stand by show officials when you arrive.

If you havn't prebooked your ticket you will not be allowed to enter the site until the main gate opens at 10am You WILL still be allowed on the stand I had this confirmed by one of the organisers.

AdrianT think its just me and you on Saturday as per below you need to go straight to the stand once you get there as you will not be allowed back out of the camping area. I will see you when I get there about11.30ish  

To all club organisers…

Just wanted to clarify the plans for arriving on the weekend. Please pass this information onto your club members

Saturday morning arrivals
Head straight for the clubs stands (follow the signs straight through the main pay gate).  Please don't aim straight for the campsite, as once you are in there, you're in the for the night. As it will be busy, please don't faff around positioning your cars perfectly on the stand until there is a suitable gap in the traffic of club cars.

Saturday - moving from club stand to campsite
You can ONLY move your car from the club stands to the campsite between 5pm and 6pm.  As there will be police / security on site, dont risk drinking and driving. To get to the campsite, you drive along the tarmac road, back through the main paygate you came in through, and then turn left into the campsite entrance.

Sunday Morning - moving from campsite to Club stand
You can ONLY move your car from campsite to the club stands between up to 10am.  Use the road through the trees between the two campsites (near the music marquee) and then down the the main tarmac road and turn right (red arrows on map attached).

Sunday Morning arrivals
Follow the signs to the club stands.

Unfortunately I wont be able to be on the stand as when replacing flexi-brake hoses the mechanic snapped a fuel-pipe… won`t have it back until monday,will come over of course  :cry:
