The application form has now been sent off with the 6 stand entrants and their photographs.

I was told today that only 8 club stand positions were left available despite the 1st February 2010 closing date so its just as well its gone in now.

I know it ALWAYS seems a long way off in the future when requests go out for a March show but if we don't have CONFIRMED owners who are willing to put the cars in on the saturday(and potentially have to stay over for a night) then we we always end up in the cold car park.

Maybe next year we can get inside……  :dontknow:

Oh and the club has paid up front for the tickets so each owner owes us £12.50!!!!!    ops:

If so as you have the list of people who are down for this show then can I suggest anybody wishing to pay via paypal use secretary vwgolfmk1 .org.uk to pay the £12.50 for their place. Dan will then get the email confirming payment and he can mark as paid.

The op is on 27/2/10 - and while in the shower the other day mulling over the U.D. topic, I realised that I wouldn't be fit to travel, let along drive a car, drink loads of beer and survive to tell the tale so I won't be going.

I will need a deputy to act in my place. YOMP - as you have most of the gear (flag etc) would you care to take that on?

I've recently moved back to the UK from overseas and should have my car at UD again this year. I want to make it to more of the MK1 events this year since I'm back so I'll look out for you guys on the day. It will be good to back in the Dub community again after a break.

Cough, cough, there are still some payments outstanding to the club for this event. Please can those owners who haven't paid for their ticket do so asap so that it's all sorted before the event?
