not sure if the golf will be finished intime needs mot and tax. gutted to say the least! i really wanted to show it off.
will be coming in the vw santana if the golf isnt ready. only for the sunday though.

Last year we got to Malvern about 2pm, park up at the supermarket in the town centre, got some provisions and found a coffee shop ( very cultured eh !!) and then drove down to the showground around 4pm for entry and tent errection :-)

Then beer was the only thing left to do :-))

Do you mean the big Morrisons supermarket just as you get in to Malvern? 2pm sounds good to me

Hello. I am new to the MK1 owners club (this is my first post).
I have recently just brought a 1988 MK1 GTI cabby as a winter project.
I am going to come to the show on Sunday for the day, as a day visitor am I able to park my cabby within the ground or is ther just a day visitors car park?

Where in halesowen mate ???? you should be able to put ya car on stand.

thanks warren got mine too..been havin problems with my car, sorted out elec problems took it for a drive got it back in garage and water hose popped...got the hose from vw heritage 2nite and put it all back together...ole back on the road

Matt, if memory serves me right, the Midlands crew met at McDonalds, Oldbury (off junction 2 of M5, if we have anyone wishing to join us enroute) at 3.00pm and convoyed down  :wink:

Those pesky water pipes  :? , change the lot of them , when you get a chance. My old diesel engine Mk1 blew every hose, one per trip,  in the first 2 months of using it  :mrgreen:
