GTI Festival this Sunday

Is there a MK1 contingent going? I can't see a thread anywhere unless I'm going blind?!

I'll be there on MK2 club stand with my MK2

Maybe catch up with some of you?  

We will all be in Malvern - shame it clashes mate !!

I might pop along if I have time as just down the road. There are a few going I think.

Oh damn I didn't realise it was this weekend!    It's the one you said at AGM about camping at in the cold isn't it?

For those of you that are going, little sneak preview! but keep an eye out for Mike Brewer and a filming crew, Discovery are filming the buy or sale of a mk1 golf GTI there tomorrow as part of series 2 of wheeler dealers trading up , i nearly had them coming to malvern with us but they already booked GTI fest for the filming :-(

Well bit of a wash out but good to be there. Wasn't a big turn out at the show and no strip action given the heavy rain all day.

Highlight of the day was Mike Brewer filming for the next series of Wheel Dealers Trading-Up - he was buying this MK1 Campaign



We may get our MK2's on the show as well if we're lucky!  



Not a bad turn out considering the rubbish weather - 5 MK2's on the Owners Club stand if my memory serves me right, good to meet up again  8-)

Was planning on going to this, but waking up to a downpour put me off!

Did he buy it because the side stripes are wrong or has he got it cheap because the pirelli caps aren't black?  

LOL, yep we did remind him today about the P-Slot gap too

It really was quiet!  

A total waste of £15, it was like a sunday night in macdonalds carpark, not actually anything going on, I left at lunchtime cold wet and disgruntled!

It wasn't the best was it! With entry for me and my lad and a bit of grub to keep warm had spent £50 in just two hours!
