i was going to do the mk1/retro display,

but if there is a clud stand i will be on it

yea i trying to arrange to take are cabbys and trade stand there as well so either way we  will be there

stick me down for the weekend. My motors available too- however i dont want it next to Walts- people might think its a skip and start chucking rubbish in it - you know what the welsh are like! :wink:

Hi all,

I'm a bit of a show virgin so i'm wondering how it all works? My mk1 aint show condition but its not bad. I noticed that the previous owner put it on the retro stand last year, so how would i go about doing that? do i need to book? What happens if i just turn up?

Sos for the probably very obvious questions but gotta start somewhere. Im only in Chester so i have no excuses not to go to this one.

Hi all,
I will be coming up from sunny Anglesey 8)  8)  for the weekend and would love to get my car on the stand if possible. It is a 74,000 GTI cab on a J any more info will be gratefully received. I am also on the lookout for a sound caddy if anyone knows of one. Regards Craig.

       Having spoken about the All Types stand today at NWM9, thereare are a few of the lads up here who are up for going on the stand.
Its only 3 weeks away so we need to know if its a runner or not. Otherwise I for one will do the Retro display or show n shine.

Any chance of a definitive answer this week please?

With it being close to the North West, and also 3 weeks away from NWM9, I was going to suggest that instead of NWM10 in a month's time, we (NW members and everyone else alike) redirect our efforts towards a mega attendance at this show? Just a suggestion? Also, the "Classic Car Spectacular and Giant Cheshire Auto-jumble" is at Tatton Park on 3rd June, so thats one to add to your diaries too.

       Just put the phone down to Louise on 01352 710446. She hasn't had a firm booking for a club stand. There is still room for us but she WILL need to know how many cars will be going on. There is a prize for best club stand.

If there are other people amongst us who would prefer to enter the show n shine or retro display then there are still places available. The show n shine entries that are pre booked get a FREE entry for the driver!!!!

ARE THERE ANY MORE CARS FOR THE STAND PLEASE???? :dontknow:

Hi Dan, you're still not forgotten, honest!! ops: I had been speaking with Dean, which I guess is why Louise knew nothing? Dean was going to look at getting us by the MK1 Retro Display.

Was going to sort the form to him last night but I didn't finish work til 1am. (thats my excuse anyway!)

I'll get it off to him by this evening so anyone going let us know NOW!! for final numbers
