suspension difference between mk1 models

HI,I would like to know what's the difference in MK1 suspension between the ordinary models (1.1, 1.3 and etc') and the GTI. From what I've heard the difference is in the shocks, spring, anti-roll bars and brakes. Can anyone confirm that's the only difference?
for example can i fit GTI aftermarket antiroll bar to 1.1 MK1
what about the front wishbone, bushes and so

YES you can fit gti anti roll bars to lesser models, just use the anti roll bar brackets and check the wishbones and rear beam have the holes to accept them.

Yeah you can  mix and match stuff to achieve a dog's dinner of suspension components on your car.
