you will want to get your arches rolled for sure! also are you considering having camber?

how wide will you have your wheels? im concidering 7.5j on the front with 8j on the back which is pretty wide! also if you want stretched tyres on 14" for 8j and 7.5j 165/55/14 are pretty stretched!

if you go 13/14" wheels tyre sizes are abit pants.. so you wont get the stretch to get the stance.. you will be supprised how low you will be able to go on 15's aswell… i currently drive a mk2 jetta as my daily and on 15's all i need is a chasis notch to go lower but i can still bounce my subframe off the floor.. so i am low.. due to the stretch and lower profile tyres you can get on 15's you can get your arch to your wheel alot easier this is just my own opinin… ive had 2 6n polos one on 14's and one on 13's the latter ran low but there was no stance.. and the 14's had abit of stance but just couldnt get low enough.. you will need to do arch work as a minimum i would also suggest that you probably put abit of camber on the rear to tuck it in.. im running 7.5j up front on jetta and 9j up back as i wanted it to tuck up front and didnt want to put much strtch up front as i do over 700 miles a week… but 7.5 and 8 will probably be good on a cabby.. to get the best stance on the back.. i would also recomend polybush bump stops (or skateboard wheels as bump stops.. this really limits handling and ride uality but you get a better stance that is more runable.. hope this helps you abit
