Corrado Interior

I havent yet finished fabricating the rear catch but you are right in that I had to have them sat more upright and further forward, you need to do that to clear the roof frame when you put it up or down. I'm looking at modding the existing cab catch and making them so they are not connected, so I will have to pull the catch on both sides to pull the seat forward, either that or I will bolt them in place so they dont move. :dontknow:

Yeah, my big problem with it is that I don't want to bolt the back in place, It's tight for space there anyway so I'm loathed to move the seat forward and I'm not sure it will be secure enough to give me peace of mind.

So after careful consideration, I'm going to abort the Rado seats in the back and stick with the standard Cabby seats.

To put it bluntly I'm getting my seats recovered to closely match the Rado ones. It's not ideal but I at least get to use the standard seat and avoid all the agro of making the Rados fit and never being entirely happy (I do like the stubby headrest though  8) ).

I'll stick the rears on ebay and see if I have any takers, you never know.

I'll get some pics up when it's all done.

Good luck with yours and apologies for bailing out on you.

Cool, here's the rear seats that will probs go on the bay asap. They even have the warning triangle and are in mint condition.

If anybody wants it let me know.

right them, thought id post up and let ppl no how i was getting on,
as mentiond the fronts seats you dont have problems with its just the rears. i lucky bought the complete set of seats for 50quid in the dark grey/black colour so it all matchs my interior door cards and carpet..lucky i thought.
after reading up abit first of ive extended the bolts that the rear bench latchs onto with some coach bolts and some copper piping as a sleave for a temp measure untill i get it all in place to where i want it then ill go out and get some chrome tubing from b and q.
i made a bracket to bolt the both seats together at the bottom and at the top at the rear pof the bench. this doesnt bother me that i can see the brackets from the rear at the moment as when its all in place im going to buil box sections to cover the gaps up at either side of the seats where it meats the door cards and cover it with the door card material of a donar door cards i bought the other week to match the rear cards. i will also build a cover for the rear of the seats to hide all the brackets and my speaker wires. if you cant get this round your heads then keep watching as ill take pictures as i go along. not got any yet as the camera batterys died
so far its going pretty well. just abit of a ball ache putting them in and removing then back in etc etc but not too bad.

i always have the last laugh ;)

Good luck with it mate. I just couldn't be bothered in the end and just didn't want to sacrifice the functionality of the original rear bench. I took the soft way out and had it re-trimmed.

Oh and those front seats are so supportive.
