20vt problems

Finally got my 20vt running with megasquirt ecu but noticed a few problems, first is my 16v tensioner although dead tight wobbles left to right quite a lot is this normal? And my vr sensor seems to be getting quite a bit of interference causing the rpm to not read intermittently on ecu any way of cleaning up the signal? Other than that it sounds awesome 

did you space out the 16v tensioner? my doesnt wobble. what did you use to space it out? what version megasquirt do you have? is your vr sensor cable have a  shielded wire

Used washers pretty thick about 8mm, was thinking it could be that , vr cable is shielded but gonna seperate it from loom, I'm running ms2 

i used washers aswell same 8mm. does your belt wobble aswell? yep best to seperate the vr cable to reduce noise levels

That's the thing, the cam part is tight and belt runs straight but the actual pressed steel wheel seems to run out of line. Gonna take it off tomorrow and swap washers for a milled piece I had made and see if I can seperate the vr sensor wires, do they need a resistor in line?

it took me a few goes. 8mm on some works some doesnt what u want to do is have the belt run true in middle. so play with more or less washers and spin bottom crank a few time till you get it in middle. ive seen some run on outter lip but i got my to run in the middle and its fine
