1st post and its a biggy! 20vt into 1.6 gl carb floppy top lol

ok so i have a 84 GL floppy top running 1.6 5 speed with a webber carb ,so pretty standard ,the body and wheels are pretty much there .
ive not owned it long but i think i wanna go the 20vt route with an agu engine .
so heres what im thinking but like every one ,wanna do the least as poss to get it in and keep it standard looking and standard power (ish)

agu engine and turbo
ecu and loom (adapted inc a few componant deletes)
cut and shut exhaust to standard downpipe although i think its a twin till just under the car?
drivers side engine mount from crazy quifs ,will the welded mount in the bay need moving on a carb car?
will the gearbox fit and what clutch and flywheel is needed ,is it a g60 fly and vr6 clutch?
universal intercooler with pipe kit (have an edge/lip roller at work for pipes) gonna paint them black too
fuel? fit an after market or gti pump and wire in with ignition and a relay? under the car maybe
can i use the 1.6 rad as its new or not ?

have i missed anything ? prob have

in the near future im gonna relocate the battery and washer bottle to the boot to make space

A few of these conversions on the go at the moment in the forum. Best idea is to have a read through them.

Best do something with the brakes too, I'm selling a complete mk1 20vt cabby that has everything needed and more to do the conversion, it cost me about 2.5k to do the engine conversion alone, that doesn't include uprated brakes and suspension, if you interested in buying everything needed to do the engine conversion inc wiring and all pipework, and the brakes and all the extra goodies inc battery and washer bottle in the boot, it also has an almost new mohair hood fitted too, pm me for more info.
