Ive got the same engine roughly same mileage, which ive almost resurrected, so im going to be optimistic for you and me both and say 107BHP!!

i rmember a thread like this when cabriaulait was putting his on the rollers everyone said 100 to 105 bhp
it was a standard engine that had been thrashed to death and it made 115 bhp on the rollers to everyones supprise
so older the better :wink:

84 atw 89 after set up unless it's going to stealth or tsr, then add 10bhp to the figures.

I don't know how they did it but i got a figure at the flywheel and the wheels. 119.5 at the flywheel 8O and 87.5 at the wheels
Can anyone explain the huge gap?? I know the clutch is slipping so maybe thats where it lost it at the wheels :dontknow:

Yeah pop it up - I'm sure someone can decipher it for you. I'm pretty sure a slipping clutch would account for a fair bit of the loss though.

^ yeah, evidence is everything, besides that its 119 bhp its 87 at the wheels! which in a little car thats plenty for a standard motor

I wasn't that bothered about the figures before the run but now i have the figures i just want more i already bought a k&n filter and am now looking at some 4 branch manifolds, its like a bug has grabbed hold of me
