I can vouch for that! Just payed out for a full set of genuine VW rubbers for under my car. A LOT of hastle tracking them down and not particularly cheap either. But IMHO worth every penny for genuine parts.

I prefer standard to be honest.Mines standard apart from polished porsche handles and chrome side trim,both can be replaced with original in a matter of minutes.
Ilove looking at the  modded cars at shows and am amazed at the skill and imagination involved,though they seem to date quickly as the `scene` changes.
Having said that I wouldn`t mind owning a car like Paulc`s or benscab`s and flying up(or down)the strip at Santa Pod :mrgreen:  :mrgreen:

i like mine to look subtle although i think its gone way past that now  :mrgreen:

i wonder what it would look like as standard again with the big engine hiding under the bonnet stealth

I like unique cars which haven't gone too far e.g. bright pink paint.  I think if a car has been tastefully modified then its a winner.  But i do also like to see standard cars around.

I love unique cars and as I am the owner of the pink car I feel that the colour can add to and not take away from a car.
