I wouldnt anyway just cus id apreciate their car so much, theres and old bloke up the road with a black gti and sais hes woned it since new, i went and asked if he wanted to sell it cus i wanted to restore it as theres holes in the boot etc and hes doing nothing about it, i said its worth alot to me as ive seen it since i was a littleun n that and think its a minter.
He at first couldnt see that i could like it so much at first then he said he didnt want to sell it as it was worth alot to him, i said id ifnd it hard to take it off his hands as he obviously loves the car insane amounts due to memories etc, i agreed and thought alot of him for just owning it since he bought it from the show room.
Its standard and hasnt been modifyed and he uses it on occasions.
And theres another whos got a Lancia Delta who lives up the road, see him working on it sometimes and also seen him driving it a few times (It looks and sound stupidly nice)
So i agree, some of you are dark horses.

"ts just us 'oldies' dont get ripped off on insurance"
Harsh but very true.
Im not old, well i guess midle ages by some standards (although my partner calls me old ) im 22. but my insurance is not too bad at all.
My cars not young and hip in the way it has eyebrow spoilers and huge wings etc (otherwise known as chav), everything I do to it is for peformance gains, bar the odd little extras like the flashing GTi badge, which sounds vulgar but it rather nice in the flesh,
I guess its more old skool racer, like when the gtis were in the touring cars etc.
Daily - 05 plate B6 A4 Avant S Line, with 19s for the summer.. wifes car - Rare Seat Exeo ST Sport 170 Tech
Weekend - MK2 20vt monster - Plus a mk1 caddy I am fixing for my bro

Could you please give me a bit of advise on them as i was thinking about putting berg cup arches on another mk1 but id want better wheel alignment so i had thought about making my own bigger arches, as i love the wide stance, especially on a mk1.
At the moment i know i have a few options that id have to do this, but i would like to make these myself as it wouldnt be the same if somone else just welded them on for me…
