oldies saw the car new and have the experience and can afford to have it as a "weekend" or second car and in some cases have a huge engine conversion turbo etc etc.
younger lads come up with some fresh ideas an some dire 1s (that red mk2 with about 5 spoilers from another thread)
id say dont split young an old learn from each other innit bled safe?

Hmm oldies or young.
I think around 30, because they can afford the insurance on like 1.8t engines in mk1's and they have the balls to do it!
anyway heres my old one

That was a fortune for an 18 year old but it was the height of the "Hot hatch" era and u just had to have a hot hatch, but inevitably it got nicked just like everybody else's!!!

Sorry but you won't beat me on insurance commitment, beat ?3,000 and receipt to prove it. Was paying ?260 a month on a loan payment to get it, among credit cards for the other bits i got for it.
(i now pay around ?400ish) that was years ago.
Some of the comments from the "OLD" people are really annoying.
I had a 185bhp 2L 16v before the GTi that i have now, and was still paying less that alot of people on here.
But anyway isnt this supposed to be about styling? Not who's going to die First? lol
It doesn't matter about age, anyone can produce a good car, just depends on the person.
"who knows where its at stlye wise"
Style is spelt style
I thought some of the "oldies" would have picked that up (with all their experience)
