My Model Collection!

Over the years i've been collecting models

some find it sad, but I find it rather addictive

here a picture of them will need a bigger shelf soon



all of them have meaning to me, either bought by family or the places i bought them some came from Hanover in Germany

Latest one turned up this morning 1:18 early gti by norev, pre ordered this around 2- 3 years ago when it was announced



theres a few more I want, one is at my mums wrapped up for my bday the 1:18 OTTO Campaign model

But I am a little concerned about one of your technical books I've seen on the shelf above your fine model collection!



I can see it does cover exterior modifications, such as 'Bonnet Bras' but where on earth do you fit a 'Corset' on a MK1?
If you can post a pic or two just to get a feeling for it!

i have stolen a shelf out of my girlfriend display cupboard

she did corset and swinwear at uni but is a bit out of place next to my haynes manuals :lmao:

We are in the wrong business, not that we own a Mk1 to make money but we know people who have invested say 4K and are struggling to get 2K to 3K back and that's not including the man hours!
Just a couple of days ago here on the website was one guy trying to get a rough value on his car and I think you and others were telling him it's worth about half or less than he has spent!

Models low investment  = High return!
Very limited risk

i hate t0 admit in on here lol, but i have wrapped up in sealed bags in a sealed bag lol in my loft 8 1:18 scale sierra cosworth and rs500 models, got white, black and moonstone blue, then a number of the touring car models etc, i am hoping one day to be able to have them displayed in a nice glass cabinet in a heated garage somewhere with the real thing i own next to it

Never heard of Otto Models, they good quality then? I've got a fair few 1/43 scale Minchamps, only got the F1 cars on display though.

Here's my little lot, not got a cabinet to store them yet, so they are safely packed up away inside a bag inside another bag in the loft :-)

No guesses for what car i want if i can ever afford one!
