Just run it past my boss.. he thinks its a good idea.. but we have a marketing budget and would prob have to do the GTi with the new Polo- which wouldnt be such a bad thing..

That'd be massive if a lot of us turned up  8O ….It'd be the hottest and busiest VW launch in the country lol !!!  Think Amy would have a heart attack though lol… by the way in only a few days this thread has reached 2000+ views… it's a well watched topic  :wink:

i saw that- i was really impressed with how many people viewed it!!! Howver i was a tad stressed the last few days but with more time to prepare i think it could be brilliant!! especailly if i got you guys here.. it would be awesome and most definatley something the boss is going to ahve to listen too.. be a good chance to get some discount and stuff….

find a big local company and see if they'll sponsor the event? say ?4k in return for loads of publicity? or spend a day phoning medium size businesses in the local area offering them advertising space on leaflets etc.. that way it'll cost you pretty much nothing!

The meet at Bury is very good, only really have it in the summer and every few months so its not a monthly thing. They have the garage side open and last time i went had an R8 which was awesome to listen too !!!!!

Soz Amy, but dont buy parts from them so your custom is safe

Hopefully be on the lookout for a mk1 within the next year though but im only 18 and needed something that would do 60 miles a day to work and I would worry about a mk1 too much

and already got 2 cars for the time being so need to wait for the mk2 to go!
