How many owners

4 including me… well actually my mother, she 'owns' the car otherwise it would have to be sorned  

Well that was another 500 mile wasted trip, i aint sure if its just me expecting to much for my money. I am on quite a low budget but ideally don`t want a full resto project.

The one i went to see today was quite cheap and there were reasons why , the seller was actually quite a nice lad but unforntunatly his idea of, for example the filler cap area being a bit uneven where a new piece had been welded in , actually turned out to be when i got there the full qtr panel being full of filler, now this is ok if it had not been put in by a blind person.
He said new sills had been fitted, well they had but the new sills were welded and fitted over the old ones without them being removed. WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT.  Forgot to mention the big plate that had been welded in on the rear seat belt mounting point aswell. There was also another serious issue with it that eventually put me off and i walked away. But i aint gonna go into that just incase someone on here has bought it. The car is now sold , so someone must of seen more potential in it then me.

IMO of the car i might aswell of bought a non mot and tax one and done it myself as all i would be paying for was the mot.

One bonus out of today, i got an insurance quote for the car that if i bought it i could just ring and take it out, ?172.00 fully comp Bargain!!  All i need now is a car  :mrgreen:
