Lol it's the confusion that people say about the Cabriolet CC. Which was not called the Cocco Channel. It is the Christmas Cabriolet. 3 Versions exsist.
But rumour has it that the salesmen did pass off the Car as a Cocco Channel and offer a free bottle of said perfume to entice buyers especially women.
Naughty
I never knew that. I don't think half of the female drivers did either!
Just as well the Ladies didn't know about the rumour.
Can you imagine the 'Stink' that would of caused if there had been!

I used to work in a Lotus garage, everything was custom order (within reason), we had a chap order a bright canary yellow esprit with a dark green leather interior. just as well the outside was yellow really, you could'nt see the vomit so easily!
Lol, there have been some right monsterous things about.
Didn't we have a post on once with stuff from Barraboys or barrowboys or somethging like that.. that was funny.

But I was 15 at the time and the car only cost me 30 quid without an engine and gearbox.
painted and mot'd it was 120 all in!
Accually I just remembered, I did vomit in mine on my 18TH Birthday.
It was brown ale with a mixture of chips, sausages, eggs and beans my Mum cooked for me before I went out.
Never totally got the smell out.
what a classic, now those were the days!

I can see what he was thinking though! thats the colours of the lotus badge. So he probably thought it would look good all over
Yellow and black good! Yellow with tan interior can look cool, but with any other colour interior would look pretty terrible.
