sunday 26/08/12 today i hav been stuck on hard shoulder with a bust pipe !! Burt to the rescue!!! Drove to urburgring but just shut ,now sat in restaurant then bed if we can find a hotel, We found a hotel late on quality place!!B&B,up breakfast then to the ring hopefully for some laps,then 5 hr drive to meet the others in Hanover ,,

made it here no more cut outs as soon as we hit gernany  its as if it knows its going home

its not good news for lhasadreams Ade's water pump went yesterday  just as we hit Germany so he has had to stay with it some 160miles from Hanover and is hopefuly getting it sorted at a garage this morning and will be back with us today we have had a hose go on another car and gammy has a wiring issue  which Bert sorted.

Any news on how Jelly Belly is doing in the diesel?

Yes mate, from dover sat morn, all been different places today,hanover town for a few of us,, pics will tell all…..

Bet you were ready for a beer when you got there, hope Sharon and Ade make it over ok today!

What a day !!!!!!

After the performance of last nights doings with Ade and his pump and getting to the hotel at 2230 last night it was a hell of a job to get 1 or 2 beers down my neck !!! well 8 before i went to bed at 12 !!!!

Hanover town center welcomed the mk1 golf owners club with open arms !!!! NOT

Me jelly, funk spud dubgolf, waterworx, daz, woz, anna, kev,ansar went and hit the pubs big time also with wifes and girlfriends basically we kicked it big time with me on the banana beers !!!!!

Others like sparkstu and arf33 went to the flippin zoo !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our ex chairman had a ball in the muesums along with yomp and his dad !!!!

Now were all causing a disturbance in the hotel giving the beer machine a good run for its 1euro 60 cent a go, so let the beers flow and bring on the factory tour in the morning if i wake up on time unlike the hotel in dover where i told everyone to be outside for 0615 and i made it at 0645 !!!!!

Lets see what this evenings entertainments with lots and lots of beers but as usual we will be very responsible whilst representing the club and keeping the british end up  !!!!!!!

Elvis and Jellybelly studied the beer menu, Elv went for the most expensive as he wanted a beer in a glass tankard, Jelly went for the easier option and asked for a beer with a handle!

Good to see you guys having a good time out there. Enjoy the factory/museum tour tomorrow. Post up some pics of any mk1s in there - especially the yellow ones    Safe journey home on Wed.
