Got mine this morning !! Very impressed dano looks top notch and could not ask for better.

Got my badge today nice surprise when i got home from work tonight ?
Only problem is i can put it on the grill but
 no front panel to put the grill 2 and rest of the shell is half sanded back down 2 steel
It will be the last finishing touch ?(when i finish it Rome was not built in a day)

Fitted mine today Dano and very impressed with it. Fitted while at work and wasnt very busy so washed the car afterwards aswell not a bad days graft




Just wish my grill was easier to get to as it was a pain to get my hand there but still really impressed

The hatchback design was already sorted and Tian did the cabriolet so I can't take any credit for that.

The reason being is that I haven't had time to go to the post office today. I makes it easier if there are quite a few to post at the same time.

My badge arrived today. Well chuffed with it. Sits proud on the front grille now! Cheers dano and the committee for all your efforts.

put mine on tonight. replaced the bolts with stainless steel, machined a 70mm x 30mm brass single washer. lock tightened the bolts in and double nylock nutted on the end.  it will not come off

Anyone got a junior hacksaw for the plastic grille!!!!  

You can always get another plaque….. Mk1 grilles themselves are harder to find in good nick!!!  :doh:    :wink:

oh, forgot to say i have wired if direct to an inverter which puts around 1,000,000 volts through the badge  :2guns:
