Cabrio "Classic Blue" LC5N - only on Rivage models?

Post

Hello there, I'm pretty new here and on the lookout for a Rivage (mods, I've already posted a want-ad :))

I was wondering is the colour "classic blue metallic" (LC5N) only to be found on Rivage models in the UK?

I know that Helios blue is a slightly lighter, silvery blue and Inka is a bit more purple.
I've been having a read at cabby-info.com and it mentions others, but uses US-spec names, e.g.  "Classic" - is this the regular GTi model?

I believe it is a Rivage colour only i'm not aware of it being used on any other model or spec

Yes I believe colour lc5n is only on the rivage. I think the mk3 golf had a similar colour but a different code.

I take it you have seen this one:

Good luck with your search!

Yep, cheers Shughy… bit pricey for me tho & has a horrible two-tone blue leather interior  :o

In the UK, yes.  And, as far as I know, all Rivages are GTIs.

On the mainland, the Classic and Classicline also received Classic Blue Metallic… here in North America, it's a gorgeous color we never got to see, along with polished Le Castellets. :(

Kamz and Funk are right.
The Classic line was the Rivage equivalent, so trim and paint colour were the same.

I did hear though there are 2 shades to LC5N though?

Thanks for the input folks. In the end I saw a few repainted cars which weren't to my liking, so I opted for a LY5V "Sapphire" car, which is original and looks good with a navy hood IMO  ;)

Rivage = Classic line eh, makes sense, you learn something every day on here!
