I ALMOST CRASHED TRYING TO CHANGE FROM PUMPS TO HEELS RECENTLY - MY FAULT FOR DOING IT WHILST APPROACIG A ROUNDABOUT! I HAD 1 HEEL AND 1 FLAT ON- THATS A WEIRD SENSATION WHISLT BRAKING AND CHANGING GEAR!!!!

Who said it was illegal to drive in bare feet?!

You used to be able to get a thick carpet mat designed for driving in heels.  It sat under your pedals and was designed to take the "soul" bits of your heals.  No idea if they still do them.

What you need really is a detatchable heel

I get that! Pete swans around driving mine while I'm in the passenger seat. I wouldn't mind, but until I introduced him to Mk1s he was happy driving a Sierra and thought a car was just to get from A to B

don't see the piont of high heels myself,

all women wear them because they like to look good, pressumably to the opposite sex (i.e: men) but most (if not, all) women won't go out with a man shorter than them.

and i'm quite sure most men don't like there womentaller then them.

Personally I don't look at the shoes…. Not that I look at all now I'm married  :wink:

I also drive in heels driving in flats is weird…
always have stash of shoes in golf aswell

What is the point of heels?…. Thats like asking why men like cars… shoes talk to us! I am sure pairs of shoes talk to me and shout 'buy me, buy me!'. It s a love you just have - and it also breaks the bank!  

Hate driving in flipflops - feels very odd, heels are much better to drive in (but don't always look the best with trackie bottoms on!)

Driving in flip flops is impossible! I spent most of last summer wearing flip flops, and consequently driving barefoot.

firstly women should always wear heels. They look gorgeous in them.BUT you know the wear on the driver's seat of the golf….it's down to them pulling the seat up when they drive but not returning it when we drive. We, being bigger than them then scrape the bolster when we get in and over time wear it out. Women you have a lot to answer for…….. I had to pay ?????s to replace my seats. Got to love them though….both women and golfs :wink:

To be fair they'll both let you down equally
