Not related really but over here I pay £326 per year (9 months) for insurance T P,F,& T.
Must be off the road for three months of the year.
How does that work?
A. You hand your number plates back to the Insurance Company.
No extras what so ever.
No Fully comp available at any price.
No recovery.
Total loss equals a 'Book Value'. whatever the hell that is on any old car! About three and four pence I'd guess.

Newer or new cars don't fair much better I can tell you and I'm in the lowest Insurance group possible.
