Swapping from 1.5 JB block to 1.8 EV what dizzy to use

Hi ive swapped the engine from my 1.5 JB to a 1.8 gti EV engine. I'm going to be running twin weber 40s and was wondering what dizzy to use. The 1.8 dizzy has the wrong connections and will need to be wired up somehow. The 1.5 dizzy has already been converted to electronic using Accuspark. I know the advance is different on each dizzy. Could i just swap the vacuum advance from the 1.8 dizzy to my 1.5 dizzy and keep the wiring the same instead of figuring out how to wire up the 1.8 dizzy. Would it effect performance?

Hey check out my other post on here with some guy from Germany regarding twin webbers. You may need to recurve your dizzy and also you don't need vacuum advance with using the Webber's. I had that hooked up and per my other post thread  "your timing will be all over the place" im still working thru this myself but what the other guy said, (he's been running Webber's for 8 years or so I think), was that we only need the built in mechanical advance in the dizzy. My car is running so much better without the vacuum advance hooked up. I'm running twin webbers 45s on 1mm overbored 1.8L JH engine and now looking to re-curve my distributor to bring on full timing much earlier.

You may be don't need new dizzy maybe just need to recurve your original and cap off the vacuum advance.
