Wiring loom

I've got a wiring loom extension in the middle of my dash and not sure what it's supposed to be for, possibly extra gauges but there wasn't any with the car when I got it.
I've got no plug for the lighter in the ashtray either, wondered if this look did away with that possibly?
I've got the ashtray and an original plug now to sort the job hopefully. Thanks
