That is the only seal that I don't have a picture of.
What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?
They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Is the only solution a full new door seal as the tail will come attached?

No, a tin tops seal isn't the same as the Cabriolet.
