Will this starter motor work/fit?

Hi all,

I need a starter for my ABF which is running on bike carbs (if that makes a difference). The gearbox is an O2A but don't know the full code. I have the option of the starter in the photo, with the P/N O2A 911 024 DX 01. I've searched for this and it comes back saying it fits a mk4 golf, but other searches say that any starter which had O2A as the beginning of the P/N will fit. When I search for "ABF starter motor" I get similar results but the gear looks different to the one in the photos. Can anyone confirm one way or the other, if the one in the photo will fit and work with my set-up?
