9J Alloys on the rear

Hi Folks

Ive seen a lovely set of Gotti wheels for my Tin Top.  Big issue is they are 8J on the front and 9J on the rear   - ET is 49 - Wheels are 16 inch

Will 9J fit up back?  I dont mind a bit of arch fettling but not into shortening beams etc

Far too big for a mk1 in my opinion but its your car to do as you please.  Never tried myself to fit those sizes but assuming sensible size tyres fitted i think the front might cause more issues than the rear. Also et 49 is a lot of inset, maybe causing rubbing issues on the inside,  but as said im only guessing.
