Mk2 spotlights in a mk1

K Reg 1992/93 mk1 convertible rivage 1.8 gti

Hi there I was just wondering whether mk2 golf spot lamps will fit on a mk1 golf (as spot lamps)?

(It's a 4 lamp grill)

There were 2 types of inner spots.
The 92 has a longer mounting bracket on the lamps and the early ones didn't.  

The early ones will fit, but they don't have much of an adjustment.
