Rear strut top mounts

Hi all

Has anyone tried or can confirm….

Are the rubber rear strut top mounts on the MK1 the same as a MK2 ? Some suppliers say yes some say no.

It's a cabrio I have. The pictures look similar

They might be the same but do show slightly different part numbers

They are £2.08 more for a set compared to a Mk2 set..   

I have a Mk1 and a Mk2 and I'm sure there is a difference. I think it's that the Mk1 is smaller slightly.
