Hi all hoping someone can help here!
We're in the process of doing valve seals Rings etc and have taken the guides out as they were very worn.
However trying to get hold of new ones that look the same is proving impossible.
Mine look like this
But everywhere I search they look like this, with a shoulder.
Does that shoulder make a difference? Are they just a newer version but still fit or do I need the original style ones? If so, anyone know where to get them?
Thanks

I haven't fitted any, but based on your picture I would say they should fit. Worst case scenario you could turn down the shoulder in a lathe.
It's a cheap item so I'd just buy one and find out.

Thanks for the reply. I bought those with the shoulder but they turned out to only be 36mm long, not 42.3 as needed and as advertised.
However I have now got some without that shoulder which are the right dimensions. Just need to fit them.now…

Now you mention the length I think they were shorter so as to not block the ports, you get a better flow with the shorter ones, and the shoulder was there so they were fitted to the correct depth.
