Missing Roof Ram - electric Hydraulic roof

on my MY83 1.8 GTi Cab, I have got it back on the road and driven for a couple of months but have a few jobs left. The previous owner removed the drivers side roof RAM as the mount appears to have snapped off. I can get the Mount welded back on, but where can I find a replacement RAM?

Motor and switch seem to all work. Connecting up the fluid systems should be okay as pipework all still there, its just sourcing the RAM. Any Ideas. Not much luck on google yet.
