There should be a box somewhere on the car and that may say the make a model of the immobiliser as you have just found the switch, if you follow the wires back you should find it then you may be able to contact the manufacturer and find out if you can get a replacement fob for it.
Or you can find the box and remove all the wires running from it to the loom and repair/replace/replace the wires to the original set up.

I guess the box may be underneath the dash near the switch which you have pictured, you will properly need to unclip the cover (2 clips on my car) just above the pedals to get to it as that is where mine is.
Let us know how you get on.

I removed the immobiliser on mine and the box was mounted near the fuse box in the left foot well. They had cut into the starter motor solenoid wire and the feed to the coil as well. To bypass it you need to disconnect the wires from the immobiliser and join them to the corresponding colours. As mark1gls said, trace the wires from the switch back to the main unit.

Mines hidden inside the dash behind the instruments.
Its also wired up to cut power in the harness to the fuel pump.

So a dirt bag has a snow balls chance in hell of getting it to run! 👍 😀

I've a long since discontinued 1990's Laserline in mine. The car came with just the one fob so I wanted a back-up in case something happened to it.

It surprised me just how easy I was able to find a second new one and programme it… there was even a copy of the installation / user manual posted on-line.

Before you go to all the trouble of taking the entire setup out and maybe causing other problems you may be able to get a new fob instead?

If there are no makers markings on the control box, there's plenty of specialists out there who would probably recognise it from photos.

Here's just a random one plucked from the inter-web…

Stick up a pic of the fob and a face view of the part it goes into that you've shown above… might be able to ID it better.
