GTI radiator fan, how long should it run for?

I would think sharp edged inflexible SS around the rad and paintwork wouldn't be a good idea?

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.

To be honest I'd not really given that aspect any thought, but once in place so long as they weren't touching any part of the rad or front panel it wouldn't be an issue? Perhaps I'll make them up out of something closer to oem anyway, be cheaper and easier too

You'll need to print them on A3. They should be A3 pdf's.

My rebuild thread I will try and keep up to date: here

While the 3 cards are a good thing, the only one that is really needed is the top radiator card

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

paceman OK, thanks. I don't really have access to a computer so everything is done on a phone and the file doesn't seem to give a paper size.

Briano1234 thanks, will get the top card done first, I've made up a template for it so just a case of getting the material and making it. Can do the sides as and when

20220125_095922.jpg Just incase anyone was interested, made up the top rad card out of stainless,  its not perfect and a touch rattly but can probably adapt it s bit to make it less rattly

think the side ones will be a bit of a mare to make when I get to it, I've got the card templates cut, just got to see how they fit on the car. 20220125_095930.jpg
