E14 fusebox output

Had problems getting my 1984 august reg cabrio running correctly,traced it back to  wur,aux valve and lift pump not working.finally found no output fromE 14 black plug terminal.If connect feed from battery If  + feed to  connector  behind plug  lift pump ok.changed fusebox  ,same problem Help

Have you checked fuse 5 or fuel pump relay?

Hi yes checked  relay (replaced it with another from working car) similar with fuse.where does feed come from for E14?

You're going to have to do some testing. Pull the fuel pump relay. Look where it goes in the fuse box and you'll see the contacts labelled 1 to 8.

Contact 1-ground
               2-12v at all times
               3-continuity through fuse 5 to E14
               4-12v with ignition on
               5-continuity to red/black on coil
               6,7,8 not used

Feed comes from contact  2, through the relay to contact 3. Contact  3 then goes to fuse 5 and onto E14.

Checked output 2 -12v output4 12v with ignition on but contact 1 also 12v with ignition on.

Is anything else not working, wipers, indicators etc.

Every thing seems ok except with ignition on no power to either thermo switch,aux air valve,wur. Checked at back of fusebox have unconnected wires single black in sleeve with female spade and clear poly shroud,single black with female spade in hard shroud look to connect to shrouded male spade with blue/brown wire+white /green wire

Contact 1 should definitely be ground. It gets its ground from D22(white plug) brown wire should connected to a few other grounds in separate connector.

Hello 
I recently had an immobiliser fitted to my 86 mk1 cab gti … since then the car cuts out after 20 mins of running 
I wonder if the fitter May of disturbed a wire or connection to the in tank lift pump or a relay ?

Any help would be great
