Different types of MK1 clocks

Hi there i have just put a set of clocks in a mk1 I am building and I only have some of the functions working.The clocks have mfa and an economy guage but on the back there is the standars 2 plugs but also a msll two pin socket which I have not seen on any other clocks.The MFA and all lights work but i dont have a working fuel guage or temp guage.Does this 2 pin plug have some bearing.? Help appreciated

I dont think so.

My original clocks have the 2 pin plug as well, when I tried some from an earlier model they didnt have the socket for the plug so I left it loose behind the clocks.

if there is no 1/2 plug on the front, the 2 pin plug on the back is wired to the later type stalk which has the 1/2 button on it.
