Cabriolet hood problems

Gap between quarter glass and hood.

One for the hood refurbishing experts. I have a gap between the o/s rear quarter glass and hood . Closer inspection of the frame shows some splitting  and disrtortion on the frame that carries the seal where the gap is. Is it possible to replace this section of framework without removing the complete hood?  Are any frame parts available via VAG or is it going to rely on a donor car being stripped?  Thanks for any help with this.

I'm no expert BUT it does appear as if the channel the seal sits in, or the frame itself at that point, is bent. The frame itself is very sturdy so I'd be surprised if this is bent but the channels aren't so sturdy. The seal should pop out relatively easily then the channel is screwed onto the frame (through the hood) (and there is a foam seal within here too, to keep water from dripping into the interior). It may be worth removing the channel and trying to bend it back to shape, also replacing the foam.

The other thing worth mentioning is the windows are adjustable for height at the top stop.
