No Spark Mk1 Golf

Hi,

I have a MK 1 golf and I have no spark, Any help greatly appreciated

I need a TCI / ICU module to try as I believe that's what is wrong (I have one ordered but it's coming from the UK so it will not be here for a while) , or if you know how to fix the car that would be even better :cool:Thanks in advance

did you check and clean all electrical connectors . fuse box and coil ?

I know this member is nowhere near you as he's in Kilkenny but he knows many members over there and is a Mk1 expert Shughy ! 😉

Yeah checked all those, I'm now getting a spark but it's 3 in a row then nothing, switch the ignition off and try again and the same thing 2 or 3 sparks then just cranking
