1.3 Driver - engine lumpy/ power loss/ smokey

hi all,
 having some running issues. I've posted the videos below of the running sound and the strange smoke appearing in the air box.
Also I'm having to manually open the flap on top of the carb before it will start.
Any help would be great 😊 Thanks!
what I have done so far:
replaced soft fuel lines from tank to hard lines underneath
put in a one way valve before fuel filter
replaced fuel filter
new spark plugs
oil and filter change and engine clean
