1.3 airbox vacuum connection

Hi folks
This is the temp control vacuum unit in my round airfilter box on my 1.3 petrol.
Does the right hand notched pipe go to the temp control flap on the air box and the other pipe to the carb?

not sure it matters but from memory the pipes connect in order, ie temp flap to nearest to it and the other behind it to the carb which is nearest to it.
