Settling In
I need to replace the linkage on my standard set up 020 gearbox on a 1992 cabriolet clipper.
When in any gear the gear stick has about 2inches of forward/backwards play in it. Does anyone know the specific part of the linkage that needs replacing?

Start with the easy to swap bits (bushing) then slighty harder bits (relay finger) and then hard bits (rod support and gear stick ball). Note that over the years the engine and box will have settled down on their mountings and replacing everything will mean you prob have to reset the adjustment to avoid 1st being reverse etc.
