I don't fancy that diet option… I'm allergic to pain… it makes me cry lol

after my daughter was born I was working in a furniture store(sitting around all day) and i packed some timber on but it soon goes i just stuck to eating chicken and couscous and not bothering with sweets n crisps etc n doing bit of exercise. I dont really think theres any rocket science about it. If you eat more than you burn off, you put weight on  :dontknow: i understand that may be bit simplistic and doesnt take into account genetic dispositon etc but genuinely believe that its true  :?

Seems to be true on the Weight Watchers plan mate…. take less in, if you lose a stone you get your allowance shrunk… you go again… lose a stone… your allowance shrinks again etc… you lose weight… looking forward to my weigh-in on Tuesday… not done anything drastic just went for low fat crisps and managing my points intake… if I lose 2lbs I'll be happy.

Just noticed Allanas post: maybe T better qualified to tell you but I didnt think that suppressing appetite is good for your either. If your body tells you your hungry it means you should eat :dontknow: just eat healthy :D

Just 1 more question
Is black coffee without sugar good for you weight & calorie wise
Of lately i have been having 3-4 cups a day

I have noticed its kills/ suppress my hunger

Caffeine does have the side effect of suppressing appetite but it's not recommended as a diet aid and although you are contributing to your daily fluid intake only about half the water taken on is utilsed, the other half is passed. Unfortunately just like alcohol the body has no use for caffeine, it is therefore in effect a poison that mist be processed and flushed form our system.

If you're looking to loose weight I suggest cutting out junk food and eating fresh instead. As an example a Large Big Mac Meal with Milkshake and Apple Pie to finish contains all the Kcal an average man needs for a day. To eat this many Kcals healthily though is a real challenge!

T

Long time no post and all that ;)

I peaked a few years ago at 22St

At last years AGM I was around the 17St mark (I think)
Currently at around 16 St - I don't keep track of my weight as it is such a long term thing!

My target is around 12 St and I am in prep for the great north run, currently can run around 9 miles without too many issues :)

Well im 5`6
2008 11st 12
Due to a few reasons (stress and unhappy partner) i dropped within 6 months to 9st 10
Sorted myself out(ish) went back up to 10st
2010 up to 10st 6,then got scalded just before xmas (bring on the comfort eating/not exercising)and up to now am weighing in 10st 12
I aim to be at 10st by June
I run a little, cycle abit more and do a few weights, but need to do more
I do eat quite healthily though
Has anyone ever tried not eating products with added sugar for a couple of weeks?
I did this and found a whole lot MORE energy without sugar
I will do a 10k run this year and am planning 100miles cycling in a day in the late spring.London to Brighton bike ride with friends(if they bother) ,or on my own racing(target under 3hrs)
Of course…the car is faster as i get lighter!!!

HAHAHAHAAAA … I'm on a journey from A to B…. (A) being a hand full of kebab and (B) being my face hole (B)

I'll be lucky if I've lost a pound… was better yesterday as saved points and had a supper… doing the same going forward so I don't get up and "investigate the fridge" in the middle of the night.

i'm aiming to gain a bit this year, weight/muscle and bulk up.

currently 6ft and 13 stone on the money, ideally looking at 14 stone and nicely muscled. (all helps with rugby and work) so gonna be upping the food and meat intake and get weight training.

good luck to all the slimmers!
