Whats the point of having it in the boot though?

By the time you've got out, dropped the keys (I'm always doing it!!), picked them up, opened the boot, moved the cover, found the brollie and put it up ….. you're soaking!!!

Best keep in inside, propped up between the backs of the front seats!!!!  :wink:

Just measured one, they're 1000mm long!

This is true.

I clearly aint thought it through enough lol.

I deployed the brollie in anger today, for the first time, in the very wet Lancashire precipitation.

While out on detective duties I sported the brollie 'at a very jaunty angle' and it coped well with the wind and rain.

However…….

The office junior… who thinks he's a comedian, got hold of it and started to mess around with it. After messing about with it he decided that it was too wet outside and he needed to go back in doors. He closed it and began to walk through the doors into the station….. only NOT to realise that he'd got it at 90* to the door….. He walked into it as it jammed against the frame!!!!  

It now looks like a banana!!!  

Its an expensive lesson cause I now need a new one….. he's paying   :roll:

I don't know what to say guys, I'm really sorry about this. Can anyone who hasn't received their umbrella PM me their address and I'll check it out for you with the Post Office. All I can say is that they were all posted on the same two days so after a month they really should be with you by now, even with the snow, Christmas and Bank Holidays! Which are all frankly a distant ruddy memory!
