we will be looking 200-300 bhp cossie territory out of a pinto but have a mk5 escort rs2000 engine which is next on the list with the supercharger hopefully more bhp than the pinto

I think the concept is cool, I love flames, if they suited the MK1 I'd have them on my mine, even got flames tattoo'd on my forearm…

Guy, well done on having an original car there.. Each to their own i s'pose, I'm not a fan of MK3's, but no matter how much i look at the pic, I love it…
am planning matt black for my GTi, might flame it just to annoy everyone… But do it a little more subtle, so gloss black flames with silver pinstriping…

Dude, I love flames too, and also plan of having them tattoo'd on my other arm shortly, however I dont like them on a golf thats been rattle-canned matt black, I prefer them on 30/40/50's hotrods! Thats just me tho, it doesnt annoy me, I just think it looks cheap.
