Mice nesting under the back seat on a nice bed of chewed up foam - just about got rid of smell after 2 months

i found these guys, one in each car

i also found mice… but they had nested in a foam piles ring which i found under the drivers seat…

also found 4 quid odd and a Murry mint
it still tasted nice joke…

2nd the mouse nest under the rear bench.  Fortunatly no mice. lol

In our latest VW - a T4 - we found Micheal Jackson's Thiller - on casette…..and chart hits 83!!

tea spoon in the heater fan unit on my first mk1, although everytime i look at my project mk1 now i just find stuff missing from it

I found a membership card for the ritz in London under the back seat of my old GX,also found a used tube of deep heat. I have to admit i've always put a golf ball in a mk1 when i've sold it, kind of a goodluck gesture

I found a ticket to a leicester theater show dating back to about '86-'87 stuffed down behind the dash.  fell out when i was fighting with my aerial lead.  i wrote the date found and my name and address and stuffed it back in!!!

I found this under my back seat, its a paper parking ticket dated 1982! car is a 1981 so it must of been there since the original owner had it.

It says on the back "Received in respect of parking charges ROYAL MINT STREET on ____ 1982.  2.25p inc VAT at 15%"

1982 parking ticket for london only costs 2.25p!

I found what i thought was the old big 5p, turned out to be a shilling.

i found £59 and a credit card (expired) in my mk4 once whilst i was broke down

I found a comb under the back seat of mk cabby, looks as old as the car, not in a very healthy state, watch out for the comb on antiques roadshow.lol

its not wierd but pretty cool, took the front seats out a few eeks ago to find a load of half corroded change wedged in the runners. finally got them all out and cleaned up. about £5 in change dating back to the 80's, one £1 coin was 78 or something and one pound coin was completely faceless lol. and an old 50p… i can just about remember when they changed size!

Mice must like the Mk1! I parked mine up for a winter, and found a perfectly round mouse's nest in the boot, made out of my favourite rug.

I also found nuts stacked up under the bonnet (squirrels must love Mk1s too!), and seeds kept spilling out from the middle part of the console for years after (even when I sold that one, the seeds were still appearing).
