Wedding car

Hi

Not sure if I should post this here but I'm a big fan of the Mk1 golf especially a white Cabriolet, unfortunately I've never been able to afford to buy one I'm getting married next year and my dream car to take me to my venue would be a Mk1 golf. I've tried searching on the net but no luck in finding anyone that does it, it's all beetles and campers. Does anyone know of a company that hires them out or has anyone done it before for some cash? Any help would be great.

I've seen MK1 tintops for hire but not cabby

Maybe if you're lucky you'll find a local owner on here who feels generous

Where are you located ?? and what is the date ? ? you never know a local member might be able to help you out.

I have sold my white one now, but here it is when i was an usher and taking one of my best mates to his wedding :-)

Oh WOW that is my dream car and coinsidently the same colour I'm having I'm in Bristol and getting married near Weston at Batch Country House May 2014, I'm going from my parents who live in Weston so it's only an 8 mile trip and will be able to pay cash, I suppose I could ask around nearer the time see who has one available.

as rich says theres loads of cabbies round here im sure someone will be able to step in and help out.

I am glad I saw your post albeit a year and some out of date, however, in order to save my white mk1 cabby from sale due to unforeseen circumstances - this is a venture we may be considering!!?

I have a friend who has a white convertible beetle who I am thinking of teaming up with!

A brilliant idea for sure, just a shame it was a long time too late I read your post!
