travelling to work how long

i guess the drive for me isnt so bad due to the 20vt under the bonnet keeps me entertained

Mate, I was doing it in a V5 20vT Volvo with every creature comfort you could wish for and I still hated the daily grind.

Is that your daily!?!?!!?  That's brilliant!!!!

What's the 0-60 and quarter mile on that!?!?!?

I'm going to try and get them to allow working from home again… I'd only do a couple of miles a day and keep good tread on my slippers… think fridge and back and tea runs would only work out to 2 miles a day… which has to return exceptional miles per (tea) gallon figures!!!  Don't like the thought of the MOT though… don't fancy checking my emissions  8O !?!?

14.4 1/4 mile not sure on 0 to 60 but its good fun even on long trips

Due to the nature of my work, I never spend too long in the same place. The closest was 1.4 miles and the furthest approx 230 miles.

7 to 10mins and I work shifts so never get bogged down in rush hour traffic anymore. I used to hate the travelling in previous jobs. Too much brake and clutch work !

I work from home now, so I have no travel time at all.  :D

When I worked in Cambridge, it was:
- 15 minutes on a bike
- 50 minutes (average) for annoying unreliable buses
- 10 minutes when I finally bought my first Golf (ahh, the love affair began…)

The longest commute was in Aus: an hour to get into town on the train, but at least on public transport you can read.

You might laugh now but when they do your hip operation in a couple of months time, I bet you want the hospital to be clean….

Just starte dteh new job, travelling at mo, 110 miel round trip to Head office in fulham, so it takes about 2.5 hours in morning and 1.5 hours at night… bloody long days

But when my new depot is up and I'm running it then its about 15 miles and 20-40 mins depending on traffic

Be careful tho as travel can be nasty, I turned down a job full time in central london paying close to 60K OTE due to travel as I;d be leaving home at 5.45am and not getting in ill 9.15pm tuesday - saturday!!!!
