Sorry guys couldnt make it, had organised with old friends to go to Notting Hill Carnival,

Will try and make Ragely Mega Meet, agree it does tend to be a goody.  Not sure if i'll make it as taking time off from work around then to do the engine conversion..watch this space.  Of course i've been saying that all summer…

Looks like I missed out on a good one there. Been going flat out welding my GTI, only able to do it at weekends. Job has turned from a patch to get it through the MOT to lots of welding round filler neck and rear O/S arch and rear brake rebuild 8O . Hoping it will be ready for Gaydon next year .

Looks like a great show! Lots of sweet looking dubs there.

Hope I can get to the next one!

Top show Drew and the crew it woz well worth the drive listenin to my front wheel knock so much it seemed as if it is was goin to fall off .. I managed to crawl back to Dudley where I called the AA who told me that the CV joint had gone which I have now had repaired.
 Met some phat people at the show and the mini-cruise to get to the show was cool.
 Who's the owner of the immaculate black campaign with less than 90000 on the clock he was there with his wife? Wish they had spoke up sooner coz they would have had my vote for the peoples choice..

Just to repeat every body else, thankyou to all involved in making the gaydon meet happen. I had a great time and met a lot of nice folks with really nice cars. :y:

Rather than rabbiting on on this show thread, I'll start one up regarding the advice on mods. lowmk1, if you're looking for a good quality red interior, I have one, problem is its in the car so it would need to be some kind of swap. I am after a mint grey interior (ie stock for the black car) so it could possibly involve a 3-way swap (eg if someone wants to swap their grey one for your leather one).

Driving to work yesterday mornin and that knocking started again so I went back to the mechanic who then told me he had changed the other side :dontknow:    
Booked in for wednesday now..

Ev…you need to work on your communication skills mate. I'm sure you told that other mechanic that you ran a diesel!!!
