Oh what a shame
Unfortunately on a public forum i can't share my view because people without a grasp of reality have seen fit to remove my post due to it not fitting a set profile they want to portray.
How very grown up of you.
I am entitled to comment on the fact that he is a unconvicted peodophile, and that the world are mourning someone they never knew. No jokes, were envolved or bad taste just a view as i see it.
Jokes are sick, ther eis a time and a place and this is neither, I dont know who removed your post as I cant see anything int he history..
but you say people mourn someone they didnt know - yet you are accusing him of something you dont know he did…
they guy had issues, yes I'll agree with that, I'm not a fan of his either, but to falsely accuse someone of something thats been prooven in a court that he was innocent is just wrong..
If you read his life story and watch everything, not just the news, you'll see he had a bizarre life and was just re-living his youth..
It is a shame he has passed away before the fans got the last chance to see him and the world has lost one of the great masters of music -
If this time is not right will you tell me and others when we can post it? 1 week 2 weeks? At what time do you think it is appropriate? When will you say its ok, now you can post?
If you pay someone millions of pounds to stay out of court even though you feel you are completely innocent, and openly admit to sleeping with kids and several cases have sprung up over the last 15 years. I tend to feel that music, talent and status aside you are not an appropriate icon for the masses and therefore i wanted to present a view of balance to the public grieving that goes on…
And on the subject of not knowing him, its completely different to have a view on a court case based on information and grieve for someone while never meeting them or sharing personal experiences and private memories.
I.e. You don't have to know someone to get information, but you need to know them to grieve.

Make no mistake, the man is a legend, a global icon and the whole world is mourning over the loss of who I feel, was defo the king of pop. There was no boundries he would not cross to get the right mix for his music and videos. The accusations of being incolved with the occult over his Thriller video is one that springs to mind.
Secondly, I cannot believe that he is not even in the ground and people are back to debating if he was or was not a child molester. Take a step back, and try to imagine how your life would have been if all your childhood you were not out in the street playing with your friends but you were being forced by your dad and brothers to perform globally with the Jackson 5. Your own father beating you if you do not comply. MJ did NOT have a normal upbringing or a normal family. When he got older and he had the cash and the time he devoted it to re-living his childhood, hanging with kids and doing the things that kids do. Did you have sleep overs when you were young, and top and tail or share beds with friends? I know I did and MJ just wanted to do the same thing. It was obvious it wouldnt be long before one of the kids got wise and thought he could exploit MJ and make a name for himself, and some money. So maybe he gave some of them alcohol, blimey my dad used to let me sup his beer when I was younger and at parties was allowed the odd babycham. MJ used to hang with Macaulay Culkin used to hang with him for years, but nothing happened to him did it?
I don't know if he was innocent or guilty because I am not in possesion of all the facts and neither are any of you, so do us all a favour and let the guy rest in peace, and think of how his kids are feeling right now, they have just lost their dad.
MJ was and still is a legend. And I personally think he was innocent.

Firstly I'm gutted to hear about his death this morning. I had tickets to go on 28th August and it would have been my first time seeing him live and was looking forward to it alot. I knew deep in my heart it wasn't going to have the same energy as his previous concerts as he was older and obviously alot more frail then he was when he last toured.

I assume Im the only one that thinks this is getting more weird? Deleting posts that have an opinion, and leaving posts with no contribution.
Top and tail? WHEN I WAS 5 WITH, OTHER 5 YEAR OLDS lol
When you say "think of his kids" i assume you mean the ones that probably should have been taken into care a long time ago.
Named: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr. (also known as "Prince"), and a daughter, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, Jackson's third child, Prince Michael Jackson II (also known as Blanket).

The way the States are run and the litigation process over there, had there been the slightest chance of see MJ in court then some hard pressed lawyer would have seen fit to it that he was. But he wasn't and never will be.
Undoubtedly there will be more to be revealed regarding his case and much speculation there will be as well…. as it was in Elvis's life. The circle could turn into another Elvis style 'is he dead or isn't he' etc but we'd better not go there had we!!!
Errm, you are entitled to your views but we ask people to be respectful in all areas on this forum. If other people wish to start a thread RIP Jacko then please let them have their say. We will attempt to find out who has deleted you post. A very small handful were on the forum this morning with the access level to do that and if they haven't done it then only the original poster could have deleted his own post. So, we'll ask around and see if we get an answer…. if we don't we'll look else where.
Thanks for your understand - everyone.

For example, the Granada Television documentary "Living with Michael Jackson", interviews by Martin Bashir, cannot be ignored. Yes, you could say other documentaries present him in a different light - perhaps because MJ's legal team had clauses in those which entitled them to review/edit/otherwise, while the same legal team were unable to strongly influence the editing and broadcast of the UK documentary. I strongly urge you rather than rely on your memories to decide, or this thread, to research and watch this documentary (easily found on YouTube, for example).
Yes, the court case found him not guilty so it is false to say he is an unconvicted pedophile, but people have different perceptions of what they consider a step too far with kids, and there is an undeniable cloud of concern in this area, illustrated by MJ himself answering questions upon it in the aforementioned documentary.
BUT
Its fair to say that pop stars in general, especially those at the very top, lead somewhat unusual lifestyles and some of the things which go on seem shocking or incredible, or unintelligable, to us (many example: Elvis Presley, Britney Spears, Ozzy Osbourne, etc etc).
Now that he's passed away those controversies, in time, will fade away but his positive contribution to the world of pop will remain strong, for example its reasonable to compare his influence to Elvis. Can't really get away from the media coverage this morning, and the impromptu tributes at Glastonbury are a good example here.

Because you have no idea.
His bodyguard was on Five Live last night. He was there when Bashir pitched his documentary to him. What Bashir said, was nothing like we saw in the final piece. He was stabbed in the back. The interview was heavily manipulated and edited.
"Secondly, I cannot believe that he is not even in the ground and people are back to debating if he was or was not a child molester. Just want to say, that's really well said. I've been trying to articulate it that well for years!

Paul, :y:
Do we think MJ would have paid a huge settlement to get out of court, if he was innocent?
Firstly, answer this question: If your son was sexually abused, would you let the molesterer off the hook if he paid you out? I know I wouldn't, i'd want to see that guy spend the rest of his life rotting in prison. Gavin's mum took the payment and let it drop :dontknow:
And finally, Emm, what are you trying to prove? As Dano said this isn't a debate on did he didn't he.
It's an appreciation of his life.
Anyway, i'm done now; i've said my peace, and paid my respects.
